Work History

I have over 20 years of nursing experience in geriatrics, long-term care, medical, surgical, pediatric, home health, hospice, primary care, chemotherapy, pain management, home-based primary care, and multiple medical specialties including neurology, spinal cord injury, dementia, dermatology, cardiology, rheumatology, endocrinology, nephrology, oncology, infusion, infectious disease, and COVID. I have worked in staff nurse and nurse manager roles so have unique perspective from both bedside and administrative nursing. I also have experience working for private and federal healthcare facilities so know the ins and outs of those two very different systems.

General History

I was born and raised in South Dakota. I grew up on the farm so am no stranger to hard work!
I am a very caring and compassionate person and enjoy helping others. I get this characteristic from my mother who is also a nurse.
I am very passionate about advocating for our Nation's Heroes. I get this attribute from my dad as he is a Vietnam Veteran.
My favorite type of nursing (that I have ever done) is home hospice care. There's nothing more rewarding!
I thoroughly enjoy investigating and revealing the truth...it is very satisfying!
I have a strong work ethic, values, and morals.
I absolutely love dogs and would rescue every single one if I could!

I am a down-to-earth, honest, and practical person who gives 110% in all that I do. I love being a nurse but have always had an interest in the legal world, as I find it fascinating! After being a nurse for 20 years, I decided to take the next step in my career and become certified in Legal Nurse Consulting so that I can work in both worlds, nursing and legal!
